THE CHALLENGE: Jamba Juice needed a way to promote their new line of food items and change the brand perception from solely a smoothie destination to one for grabbing a healthy meal on the go.
THE IDEA: An adult Happy Meal. Jamba’s mission was to celebrate healthy lifestyles in fun, festive ways. With that in mind, our idea was to deliver good feelings with every food purchase. Summer Bliss is Back tapped into the joy we felt as children during the summer. Playing outdoors, reading comics all day and vacations, were now somewhat foreign concepts to working adults who only went outside to grab food and bring it back to their desks. So to deliver on that feeling, we included printed materials and an interactive microsite that bought summer bliss to their desks and their lives.
THE RESULT: Nationwide press resulting in a rise in sales brought that warm summer bliss to everyone involved. Thousands flocked to the microsite for a cubicle picnic and to share their Jamba Fake’ation photos on social media.
THE WORK:
CUBICLE PICNIC
Upon purchase, customers received a picnic blanket printed lunch bag, a “cubicle window” poster showing an idyllic beach scene and a link to the Summer Bliss is Back microsite where they could choose outdoor scenes and sounds to play on their computer while they ate.
FAKE’ATION PHOTO GENERATOR
Microsite activation where customers could upload their faces to a variety of bodies and backgrounds to create and share photos of where they were Fake’ationing to today…all while chained to their desks.
